Emma Street

Our Containerville campus in E2 is situated between Hackney Road and Regent’s Canal, and is a great location with easily accessible commuter links.

Set across two sites - Corbridge Crescent and Emma Street - it is made up of 200 upcycled shipping containers that have led previous lives on the sea.  Not only are you well connected here with a variety of small and startup businesses who do just about most things, but you are very well connected to the rest of London.

Bus routes near Containerville run to central London, Shoreditch, The City and Hackney.  Within 5 minutes walking distance, you will find Cambridge Heath Station, which travels directly into Liverpool Street.  And slightly further afield - within ten minutes walking distance - you will also find the Central Line at Bethnal Green and the Overground at Hoxton.

On our doorstep, we have the gastronomic delights of Broadway Market, which boasts a mix of pubs, cafes, restaurants and street food vendors - plus, we are very near to London Fields and Victoria Park

This is our original Containerville site, which overlooks Regent’s Canal. First opening in 2015 with 30 workspaces, the site now holds 78 container units and houses a diverse collective of businesses - ranging from film producers, to brand designers, printers to doggy daycares. We’ve provided breakout spaces overlooking the canal for superb lunch and al fresco working spots.

On the site of an old dairy factory, our second Containerville site opened in early 2019, and is home to 170 single and double sized workspaces. Located just behind Hackney Road, the site has a centralised courtyard with an onsite pizzeria, and is home to beauty salons, music producers, fashion designers and liquor makers - to name but a few. You will also find outdoor breakout zones and table tennis facilities.
